Lillian has a new favorite movie it seems.
Lillian wants to watch one of my dvds everyday. The Producers is her current favorite. She is so cute when she sings I Want To Be A Producer, or When You Got It, Flaunt It. (which seems fitting if you read my post from yesterday). I'll need to add to my collection. She told me today that she wants to be a dancer and singer.
She basically knows the full scores to RENT, and the High School Musical movies she has down pat, and she can name the musical a lot of songs are from even if she can't sing them yet.
I cannot wait until she is a little bit older so I can take her to Shea's with me to actually see some of them on stage.
A little of this and a little of that, both in and out of my mom hat.

I am in big trouble here.
My 3 year old is on the couch behind me watching the Wonder Pets when I hear her say, "mom look at me". She was standing up swing her hips waving her shirt over her head and told me to look at her boobies.
Yikes I dread the teen years.

A friendly reminder
On Feb 28 and 29th during normal breakfast hours get a FREE McSkillet Burrito from McDonald's with the purchase of a medium or large drink. Well at least here in the States that is.

Royal Treatment
Saturday Madeline went to a birthday party for a girl in her class. They took 9 girls, including the birthday girl to a local SPA, yes you heard me a spa to get their hair nails and make up done.
This is my little Princess after the Royal Treatment.
That is her dance costume from last years recital. I had to get more than that one day use out of it.
Boy kid parties have come a long way since I was a kid. I have been to a spa twice in my life, both times I received the package as gifts too. No way I could just go because I wanted to. In a way I have to laugh at the next girl who has a party, how are her parents going to top this? I am so glad that Mads has a summer birthday and I don't need to play this game.
I was so happy when she came home from school today and seen these pictures in her backpack. How nice of that mom to take pictures and give them to us.

I ROCK!
Or at least that is what Guitar Hero said about me. Yes I broke down and bought this game for our Wii, well the fact that it was on sale helped out a lot too. Anyways I don't think that my girls will be getting much play time. (Yeah for school) I will be hanving something to do during the day besides clean and play on the computer. I hope my blogging doesn't suffer. Hee hee. I really love this game, well at least the easy level. I am being nice and letting the girls have some fun now. I need to get them on tape playing this what a riot. Maybe I can get real good and go to a bar one night wehn they have the Guitar Hero Nights. I feek like a geek 31 years old and loving a video game, aren't I supposed to be out of this phase. Then again I never was into this stuff until I had kids lol. See what hey have turned me into.

Thursday Thirteen #8
Well I am having trouble getting to the official TT site so I'll just do my list like this.
Well we are waiting for our tax return to get back to us and I thought what a great TT list this could make so here are my 13 Things I'd like to do with our tax return.
(granted we will only be able to do a few of them but I can dream)
1. Pay off the credit card (this one will be done for sure)
2. Take a family vacation to Orlando, take the girls to Disney, Sea World
3. Finally get new furniture, a couch, love seat or maybe chairs mine are like 20 years old and getting threadbare in areas.
4. Buy paint and re do all the bed rooms.
5. Buy myself some new clothes.
6. Go out to a nice dinner and then to the theater have the kids spend the night at grandma's.
7. Get a new kitchen counter top and sink.
8. Get a new computer desk.
9. Take the girls to Splash Lagoon, a hotel water park combo.
10. Get a puppy.
11. Get a new kitchen table.
12. Rib out the shrubs in front of our house and do some new landscaping.
13. Re-do the bathroom.

Confession time
I love, love, LOVE it when my husband works second shift. Second shift makes for one happy mommy. Tonight for dinner the girls wanted fish sticks. Quick and easy. I lined the pan with foil, used paper plates and plastic utensils. Can you say no clean up? Second shift means cereal or pancakes for dinner with no guilt. It means no daddy riling them up before bedtime, and no sports on out TV (yea!)
Dove SkinVitalizer
I got a coupon for the Dove SkinVitalizer at this link. It is worth $3.50 off. Plus it was on sale with my Shoppers Club Card so I figured what the hell, I very rarely treat myself to anything and I wanted to try this out. I am so glad that I did. I cannot remember the last time my face felt this smooth. I can't stop touching it. It feels real clean, looks radiant. I love it. Thank you Dove for another great product.

Just call me insane & dinner
In addition to doing this wild Blog 365 project I am also going to be doing the monthly NaBloPoMo one. Oy vey! What am I getting myself into here. I really need a different hobby.
Well dinner tonight, Valentine's Day totally sucked ass. We tried out a new place that is supposed to be a real good restaurant, little did we know that they would be running a very limited menu with NO SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED. The service was just terrible, slower than molasses. I only got one beverage. I was like WTF? Can't I even get a glass of water? The food was okay, nothing to write home about. It took us almost an hour to get our bill. Our waitress seemed to fall into some sort of black hole while there. We will so not be going back there.

So tired.
Ever have one of those days where you wish that you could just stay in your pajamas all stay? That you didn't have any responsibilities and could just sleep until your heart's content? That is me today, and of course I cannot since I have a bunch of stuff planned for today. It seems that those are always the days that I don't have any get up and go. If only my little one would nap I might be able to lay down for an hour or two. I don't have to leave here until 3:00 to get Mads from school. I have a chill that I just cannot shake.
I am sitting down right now not doing much watching the Westminster Dog Show just going awwww over so many of these cute pups. It is really making me want one even though I am not really a dog person, but my husband is terribly allergic to cats so I will have to settle on the next best thing. So not a rodent person here.

Great Giveaways Galore
Be sure to stop in here mod*mom and check out the awesome giveaways that she is hosting. There is over $3,500 worth of prizes just waiting to be won.
oh baby it's cold outside
Can I get a big BRRRRRRRRRRRRRR? It is so cold here today. Nothing like 14 below at the busstop. Not that I have Mads take the bus anymore I drive her into school but still, we had to go outside in it. as we are leaving I see her bus go by. It was early today. So on the way home, we live five streets away from the school. On my have home I had to stop two times to let the parents know that the bus had already gone by. Needless to say the parents were not that happy. I know that I have called the bus comapny to complain about our driver and I know at least two other parents have as well, how she manages to keep her job is beyond me. We also complained about her last year. UGH! Next school year I will be driving her everyday as well only because Lil will be starting pre-K and they have to be driven in, she will be starting 10 minutes after her big sister so I will just sit in the parking lot for that time.
I really need to move to a warmer climate, I just cannot take the winters anymore.

What a great day!
Well after a rough start it is turning out to be so thanks to my friend Robert who has so very generously gifted me with that illusive Russell doll over at my latest on-line obsession scratch and win over on facebook. If anyone wants an invite to this application let me know I really could use the extra credits to buy tickets to scratch. I have been trying for this doll forever it seems now I am able to go up to stage 2 of the game. Woo Hoo. So thanks again Robert!
I must of forgot to set the alarm this morning because I woke up at 8:30 am. My daughter starts school at 9:00. So we were in a big rush. I felt bad that I didn't cook her any breakfast, I just told her to buy some at school. I was mortified, I have never done that before. Bad mommy here.
